Install Musou for Mac

Every mode in Musou (Away, Only the video, Work Focus, Follow the mouse, and Custom) is ready out of the box, with a 14-day free trial of all Supporter extras built in—no account and no card needed. If your build isn't notarized by Apple yet, macOS will ask you once on first launch to confirm opening it. It takes under a minute.

How to install (under a minute)

Download Musou for Mac (.dmg)

  1. Download Musou for Mac: Musou.dmg (2.9 MB)
  2. Open the disk image and drag Musou into Applications.
  3. Open Musou from Applications. If macOS says it can't verify the app yet, click Done.
  4. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to Musou. Enter your Mac's password (or use Touch ID), then click Open Anyway once more. From now on it opens like any native app.
    The Open Anyway button stays visible for about an hour after trying to open the app. If it disappears, repeat step 3.
  5. Grant only the permissions your mode needs: Away works immediately with zero permissions. When Musou asks, turn it on in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility (or Device Control and Data Access on macOS 27). That lets Musou keep just the video's picture lit (blacking out the white webpage around it), follow your active window in Follow, and respond to Esc pressed three times.

If Open Anyway doesn't appear

Open Terminal (Applications › Utilities), paste this line, and press Return: xattr -d com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Musou.app" It removes the quarantine download flag from Musou only, so macOS opens it right away. Only paste Terminal commands from a source you trust, and read them first.
